"Mother Road Spirit" Award

An important part of the overall race experience for a participant is the support and encouragement along the 6.2 mile course. We want the Route 66 10K to be FUN for both runners and spectators. So, this year we are creating special SPIRIT STATIONS along the course where groups can dress up and go crazy to help encourage the runners as they pass and get them across the finish line.

Play your favorite music, make banners or signs, create a unique themeā€¦do whatever you want to make it fun and exciting for both your SPIRIT STATION group and the runners! SPIRIT STATIONS must be registered to be eligible for cash prizes, so sign up your group today!

Soles 4 Souls

Last year we collected 92 pairs of shoes. This year's goal is 300 pairs!!! Help us reach our goal for a good cause. Drop-off your shoes with us at weekly Wednesday group runs, Friday's early packet pickup or on race morning.

Soles4Souls is a 501(c)(3) charity that collects shoes from the warehouses of footwear companies and the closets of people like you. The charity distributes these shoes to people in need, regardless of race, religion, class, or any other criteria. Since 2005, Soles4Souls has given away over 14 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes. The shoes have been distributed to people in over 127 countries, including Kenya, Thailand, Nepal and the United States.

Anyone can join our cause, and we need your help.
